Far beyond the classic barbecue, did you know there are countless amazing recipes you can create with chicken sausage? Today, we’re going to share some of them with you. The perfect blend of crispy and juicy sausage, cooked in the air fryer, paired with the refreshing flavor of coleslaw. An easy and tasty recipe that will surprise you.
1. Start with the coleslaw: thinly chop the cabbage, grate the carrot, and dice the apple.
2. Mix the apple with the lime juice, add the carrot, cabbage and season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to wilt the cabbage, then add the mayonnaise. Store in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
3. Cook the sausages in the air fryer. The time can vary between 15 and 20 minutes according to your air fryer requirements. After 10 minutes, flip the sausages to achieve the perfect result: firm and golden brown on all sides.
4. Serve the sausages with coleslaw.
